While on a long over due trip to Hobby Lobby to get my yarn fix, my sister pointed out a yarn to me that is called “Curly Q.” This yarn is extremely soft. It looks delicious!!! There was no way, in my right mind, that I could have ever passed up this yummy yarn. With Christmas coming up, I have lots of family members to be making gifts for. This hat will be sure to put a smile on someones face. I hope you get a chance to work with this yarn too. And now you even have a pattern to use it with! 😉 This YARNTASTIC free crochet pattern is written for the teen-adult size head. Its super stretchy yarn, so it will be sure to fit all shapes and sizes!
When making this beanie I was wanting to design a hat that would be easy to throw on when going out to shovel the sidewalk or to sweep off the car after a snowy night. I wanted this hat to be wearable by not only me, but also my husband and my step son.. the EveryBeanie. This hat has been tested and approved by my 10 year old son, Brennan, my husband, Chad, and myself 🙂 And believe it or not, the hat didn't look too bad folded up on my toddler either! The sizing is perfect for sizes tween through adult.

Since I have never made a diaper cover, I decided I should probably find a free pattern to help me learn the basic shapes before attempting my own. Thanks to Sarah, from Repeat Crafter Me, who gave me a link to Flowers Creations, I now can share with you this awesome free pattern for a crochet diaper cover.…

Gobble Gobble!! A free crochet pattern for a toddler turkey hat can put a smile on any ones face! I thought about how I would put this hat together for weeks and I am so pleased with how it turned out. I was thinking about making turkey legs with feet instead of the braids… but if you haven't noticed, I really like the braids. Haha! I hope you love this yarntastic pattern as much as I do!

With Halloween coming up my mind has been thinking up costume ideas. This is one of the simpler designs that I have been storing in my head. Luckily, after making the eye patch, both of my nieces said they wanted to be girl pirates. (But we all know how many times kids change their minds lol) This free crochet pattern is designed for a child but could easily be modified for a toddler or an adult.
I made this Newborn/Preemie, free crochet turtle photo prop for my beautiful nephew Hunter. He was born 10 weeks early weighing only 3 lbs. He is doing great! And so is the momma. A very strong family that not only have much love for one another, but also turtles. <3 Turtle Love, Presented by Stitch 11

When someone orders a special hat from me, I might as well make it a pattern to share with you. This Army Newsboy hat is size 0-3 months. It is really quick and simple to work up. I enjoy making these. With the simple change of colors, adding a stripe, a band with buttons, or a flower, you can create such a large variety of hats. I hope you enjoy making this cozy piece of wearable artwork as much as I do.
Could a Snaggletooth Cyclops newborn hat ever be so cute?? I cant wait to get this on a baby this Halloween for those first pictures. If you use this free crochet pattern for a little monster, I would love to see pictures!!

After one of my readers used my snake puppet pattern , She contacted me asking for advice on changing it up to a lion puppet. She will be doing a puppet show at her church telling the story of Daniel in the Lions Den. What a great idea and thank you for letting me be part of this!
Every new baby needs a beanie to wear on the way home from the hospital. This free newborn baby beanie crochet pattern is very simple and easy to follow. The hat folds up so it is great when you have no clue what shape the baby's head will be.
