After one of my readers used my snake puppet pattern , She contacted me asking for advice on changing it up to a lion puppet. She will be doing a puppet show at her church telling the story of Daniel in the Lions Den. What a great idea and thank you for letting me be part of this!
Every new baby needs a beanie to wear on the way home from the hospital. This free newborn baby beanie crochet pattern is very simple and easy to follow. The hat folds up so it is great when you have no clue what shape the baby's head will be.

When making hats for girls, I usually like to make very large flowers. But, when making a flower to go on an animal hat, the large flowers don't always work. So here is a free crochet pattern for a little big flower! Its small enough to put by a monkey ear without over powering the rest of the monkey details. And its still big and full enough to be flowerific!
After popular demand I decided to write out a free pattern for this beautiful beach bag I designed for my mom. I tested this out when taking a trip to Altoona, PA. I was able to put 3 beach towels, diapers, wipes, sun screen, Tylenol, 3 changes of clothes for my daughter, a small blanket, and I still had more stretching room.

I was long over due for a new ~on the go~ make up bag. When designing this free pattern, I wanted to create something secure. I wanted to be able to throw my makeup bag into the back seat of the car without fearing my makeup would fly out all directions. With success, this bag is so strong, and secure. Its the perfect size for all your makeup tools for ladies on the go. I put all the items I use daily in it and I still had plenty room to spare.
Who doesn't love Sock Monkeys? Who doesn't love free patterns? Everyone loves these fun hats! This size is perfect for 0-3 month babies. With a simple color change you can create such a variety of styles and looks. Add a Mohawk or a beautiful flower to personalize your creation. Please look for alternatives for buttons on the hats for teething babies though. Better to be safe!

Here are step by step instructions for how I made and attached my bows to Olivia's Tutu.
What little girl doesn't love tutus? Use this crochet pattern to make an adorable no-sew tutu with crochet waistband for your baby or little girls. This tutu fits 18-month olds and up to 3T.
My niece Olivia has a birthday coming up. The party theme is going to be princess/ballerina. So what better gift could I create other than her very own tutu. <3
Today I am making my daughter a princess crown. I was following my older pattern when I realized I needed to make a couple small improvements. I hope you enjoy this one even more than the last. Also, check out the Kings Crown and the 0-3 month Princess Crown.

Beautiful dahlias for Mothers Day!! For each stem I just used 3 pipe cleaners and twisted one end into a loop to make my Magic circle. Once the middle of the flower was crocheted, I twisted the loop a little more to make it tighter and closed.

After searching the web for hockey helmets, I decided to give it a try. This free pattern is for size 12 months. In this picture, my daughter is wearing it and she is 15 months old. Since its made from cotton, it stretches real nice. This is not one of my easiest paterns to follow. So, if anyone has any questions I would be more than happy to help all that I can. Happy crocheting!!
