Thank you! Yes patterns get expensive quick! And then you have to hope it turns out right or its a waste of money. That’s one of the main reasons I have started this blog. 🙂 I am glad you like it!!

Wow! I love it! Much more durable than some other crowns my daughter has. I just learned to crochet and am slowly getting better, so maybe some day I’ll try this pattern! Thanks!

I’d love a printer friendly version of this. I’m going to attempt to make some for a toy donation drive. Thanks for the free pattern.

My sister is having a frog prince baby shower. Any chance you could tell me how to adjust the pattern for a newborn/infant? I am VERY new to this hobby. Thank you!
Corina says
I will work on this after I am finished with my current project. When is the baby shower?
Gennifer Barrs says
Thank you so much! The shower isn’t until the end of September. I appreciate this so much, it will be the perfect thing!

Hi I just made the crown adn love it, but is there a way to make it stiffer?
Corina says
You could try using a smaller hook, modifying the pattern for two stands of yarn, or starching it?

I would love to make this…..however, I cannot seem to get it to print. Ideas?
Corina says
Hmm, If the “print” option doesn’t work, have you tried hitting “Ctrl P” And maybe select “print options” to choose what pages to print? Sorry for the inconvenience.

I found this pattern a few years back and I have made it for every baby girl I have known since. I have even enlarged it for a couple of moms. Thanks so much! It’s easy, fun to make, and so well loved!
Sarah Lin says
I love your pattern and I tried to crochet the crown. But I stuck somewhere and couldn’t follow the instructions quite well. I’m wondering if there is a YouTube, so I can view the video to learn?
Cary Hanna says
I’m am having a lot of trouble keeping the chain straight/untwisted as I work on the first row …I’ve tried it 4 times now. Any advice?
Elsie Cray says
There’s no mention of where the round starts and stops. Can be very confusing with those of us new to crocheting.
