Flower Photo Prop

Free Flower Photo Prop Crochet Pattern

This large photo prop crochet flower is inspired by the pineapple stitch. I wanted to create a free pattern to embellish beautiful little girls during a photo shoot. While awake or asleep, this crochet flower is perfect for all little angels.

Stitches Used
CH- Chain
SC – Single Crochet
TRE – Treble Crochet

Supplies
Yarn Needle
Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Red Heart With Love)
5 mm crochet hook

*Tip* When you make your chain, start it off leaving a long tail… you will use this tail at the very end to secure the flower after winding/twisting it up.

Get Started!
Step 1: CH 30, turn, skip 5 CH, SC into next 3 CH.** CH 4, SC into next 3 CH. Repeat from ** 6 more times. CH  4, slip stitch into last CH.
Step 2: Turn, Slip stitch into CH space. CH 3,  6 TRE into CH space.  **CH 2, skip one SC, SC into next SC, Skip SC, CH 2, 7 TRE into next CH space. Repeat from ** across 7 more times.
Step 3: Turn, CH 1, SC into same stitch,** CH 2, SC into next stitch, repeat from **  5 more times.
Step 4: Turn, SC into CH space, **CH 2, SC into next CH space, repeat from ** 4 more times.
Step 5: Turn, SC into CH space, **CH 2, SC into next CH space, repeat from ** 3 more times.
Step 6: Turn, SC into CH space, **CH 2, SC into next CH space, repeat from ** 2 more times.
Step 7: Turn, SC into CH space, **CH 2, SC into next CH space, repeat from ** 1 more time.
Step 8: Turn, SC into CH space, CH 2, SC into next CH space. Turn, SC into CH space. Finish off
Step 9: Attach yarn yarn to the next TRE from step 2.
Repeat steps 3-9  across. Weave in all of your ends. I wrapped the piece around a finger to get the correct distance between the pedals. Then I used the very first yarn tail and a yarn needle to secure the flower together and attach a button to the center.

Optional – Hot glue to a head band or hair clip.. or even attach to a crochet band or hat!

When I print up your stuff because it being on a greyscale print even though I have mine set to normal, when you hit print its so light like in this typing except worse that you cannot read it and with someone such as me who has problems with their eyesight it really makes it hard to read, so I will have to write it out in my own handwriting and waste more . Can you please do something about this Please so when we do print up your gorgeous patterns we dont have to strain to read them ThanksVery Much!

When you go to print them, after you select the cleanprint, does it give you the option to copy and paste while you are in cleanprint?
