After creating the Simple Dish Cloth and the Shell of a Washcloth, I knew I would be making many more washcloths to give away during Christmas. Here are a few I made with the little bit of cotton yarn I have left. I will soon be going out to get more yarn! When making these All Purpose Washcloths I wanted to make sure that the size of the holes were not only perfect for in the bath and shower but also for the dishes and house cleaning.
Supplies
Peaches and Creme, Worsted weight cotton
I/9 – 5.5 MM hook
Yarn Needle (for weaving in ends)
Abbreviations
CH – Chain
HDC – Half Double Crochet
Row 1: CH 25, HDC in 3rd CH from Hook and HDC across the rest of the chains. Turn.
Row 2-19: CH 2, HDC across. Turn Finish off and weave in your ends ๐
I’ve never made dishcloths before. Are you supposed to crochet with two strands of the yarn?
I only used one strand, but you could use two if you like them nice and thick. ๐
Thanks for the pattern! I am making my first-ever cloth and your pattern is simple, easy, and is turning out beautiful! =)
