This cute little guy measures about 4.5 inches tall.

Red Heart Super Saver Yarn (Medium-Worsted 4ply)

G/6- 4.25 mm crochet hook.

Beak
Round 1: CH 4. Skip 1st CH. SC into next 3 CH. SC into same CH 2 more times. Turn your work- working up other side of the CH. SC into next CH. 2 SC into starting CH. Join to first SC. (8 SC
Round 2-3. CH 1. SC into same stitch and each of the next 7 stitches around. (8 SC)
Finish off leaving long tail. Put aside.
Head
Round 1: Magic Circle. 5 SC into magic circle. Join to first SC. (5 SC)
(Start working in continuous rounds.)
Round 2: 2 SC into next 5 stitches. (10 SC)
Round 3: **2 SC into next stitch. 1 SC into the next stitch. Repeat from ** 4 more times. (15 SC)
Round 4: **2 SC into next stitch. 1 SC into each of the next 2 stitches. Repeat from ** 4 more times. (20 SC)
Round 5-7: 1 SC into the next 20 stitches. (20 SC)
Round 8: **SC-2-Tog. Sc into each of the next 2 stitches. Repeat from ** 4 more times (15 Stitches)
Round 9: **SC-2-Tog. SC into the next stitch. Repeat from ** 4 more times. (10 Stitches)

Round 11: 2 SC in each of the next 5 stitches. (10 SC)
Round 12: **2 SC into next stitch. 1 SC into the next stitch. Repeat from ** 4 more times. (15 SC)
Round 13**2 SC into next stitch. 1 SC into each of the next 2 stitches. Repeat from ** 4 more times. (20 SC)
Round 14-16: 1 SC into each of the next 20 stitches. (20 SC)
Round 17: 1 SC into each of the next 5 stitches. 2 HDC into each of the next 8 stitches. 1 SC in each of the next 7 stitches. (28 stitches)
Round 18: 1 SC into the next 11 stitches. 2 HDC each of into the next 4 stitches. SC into each of the next 13 stitches. (32 stitches)
Round 19: 1 SC into the next 11 stitches. SC-2-Tog 4 times. SC into the next 13 stitches. (28 stitches)
Round 20: SC-2-Tog 14 times (14 stitches)
Round 21: 1 SC into each of the next 14 stitches. (14)
Round 22: SC-2-Tog 7 times. (7)
Slip stitch into the next stitch. Finish off leaving long tail. Stuff the duck. 🙂 Weave hole shut with yarn tail.
Wings
Round 1: Magic Circle, CH 1. 6 SC inside magic circle. Do not join. Pull ring tight.
Round 2: 1 SC into each of the next 6 stitches. (6 SC)
Round 3: **2 SC into the next stitch. 1 SC into the next stitch. Repeat from ** 2 more times. (9 SC)
Round 4: **2 SC into the next stitch. 1 SC into each of the next 2 stitches. Repeat from ** 2 more times. (12 SC)
Round 5-9: 1 SC into each of the next 12 stitches. (12 SC)
Round 10: Fold your wing flat. so the stitches line up front to back. the stitch you are on should be at one side. SC through both the front and back side across. (6 SC)
Round 11: CH 1, Turn, Skip same stitch and next stitch. HDC 3 into each of the next 2 stitches. Skip 1 stitch. slip stitch into last stitch.
Finish off. Repeat for second wing. Attach wings to the duck on the front and top of the wings.)
Feet
Round 1: CH 4. Skip 1st CH. SC into next 3 CH. SC into same CH 2 more times. Turn your work- working up other side of the CH. SC into next CH. 2 SC into starting CH. Join to first SC. (8 SC)
Round 2-5: CH 1. SC into same stitch and each of the next 7 stitches around. (8 SC)
Round 6: CH 1. SC-2-Tog 4 times. Join to first stitch. (4 stitches)
Finish off leaving long tail. Repeat for other foot. Attach them to the bottom of the duck.
Hair
Take four 4 inch strands of yarn.Insert your hook through the top of the ducks head. Fold the strands of yarn over the hook, pull through to form a loop.. put the yarn ends through the loop and tug. You will want to trim them.
Bow
Row 1: CH 6. Skip 1 CH. HDC into next 5 CH.
Row 2: CH 1, Turn. HDC across.
Row 3: CH 1, Turn, Slip stitch into same stitch and next 2 stitches.
Finish off leaving long tail. Weave in your starting tail. Wrap you tail tightly around the middle of the bow around 10 times. Attach to duck.
