Crochet Slippers Help Blood Circulation

March 1, 2014 By Corina 6 Comments

Crochet Slippers to Improve blood Circulation

I finally have had the chance to crochet myself some slippers! I had my eye on this lovely slipper pattern designed by Petals To Picots.

The pattern is extremely easy to follow and very well written. If you have not made slippers before, this would be the ideal pattern for you!

I used I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby, and I added one row around the edge of SC. I have never been one to be able to wear flats, maybe because my toes are too long? lol!ย  It was a simple change to customize them to my own feet.

They fit perfect!

It didn't take but a couple steps to recognize the feeling they gave my feet… they feel JUST LIKE my shoes that are made to improve blood circulation! If you suffer from poor blood circulation in your legs and feet, I highly recommend you try these out… and see if they help! Beats paying hundreds, or thousands of dollars going to doctors, foot specialist, and paying over the top prices for medications that could be avoided.

I love crochet slippers. My grandmother used to make them for the whole family every Christmas; then my mom took over making them for us all. Now that she can’t make them anymore, I’ve taken over making them. My step son calls them Nana Knits (even though I remind him every time they are crocheted!) ๐Ÿ˜‰

I need to know the alteration to make them come up a little more on my heel. They keep slipping off but the length is fine. I have the same problem with the footie socks, too. I have a bump on my heel that makes slippers not stay on if they don’t come up over it.

I just added a round of Single crochet at the end of the pattern. No increases or decreases in this round.
