Crochet Tree Frog

August 13, 2013 By Corina 12 Comments

Crochet Tree Frog

My daughter has been begging me to make her so many things… and this frog is one of them. When she lists off everything she wants to add to my list, I will have her sit with me while we look at photos. If she see's something she wants, I can only hope the pattern is free or that I can come up with it myself. With this adorable tree frog I was lucky enough to catch a free pattern! Roman Sock has many free crochet patterns that are very cool like the frog pictured above. It was a lot of work but gets done quickly…. if that makes sense. I felt like an expert crocheter after finishing this one πŸ™‚ Thanks Roman Sock!!

And pictured below is the Elephant Lovey… I will be working up a few more soon and writing the pattern. But before I can get to that, I know a little boy who is having a rough time right now… and I am betting some Ninja Turtles will bring some sunshine to Β his life.

Very cute! My 8yo also adds patterns to my list – but I refuse to try them unless I can find them for free. I’ve never heard of Roman Sock, Thanks for the tip – and please keep the free patterns coming!

Cute lil girl & cute tree frog. We used to find these clinging to our front door & kitchen window occasionally when I was younger,(much younger..oh well). Any’who, love the pattern, & putting it on my list of gifts to make for my kids and niece and nephews and all my friends cute kids who are always hinting for a new crochet toy or bag. :β€’) Thank you!

OMIGOSH, the expression on the face on your little girl is precious. That says it all “I love it, but….its a FROG!!!”

I will tell you a trick πŸ˜‰ Find your favorite small free amigurumi of an elephant. Take that thick baby blanket yarn and N hook. Follow the pattern and the elephant will turn out large soft and perfect. Just make sure it is a small amigurumi with not more than 20-30 stitches going around the head.

When will the elephant lovey pattern be available? Checked and it has been 1 1/2 years since we were told the pattern would be available soon. It’s adorable and would love the pattern
