While designing the Eccentric Pixie -Super Scarf for Red Heart Yarns, I knew I wanted to use the same “Sweet” Jumbo yarn for a cowl. The stitches in the Dancie Pixie are a lot like the Eccentric Pixie, but with more single crochet rows between the double crochet rows.

Supplies
Size P – 11.5 mm crochet hook
Red Heart “Sweet” – Jumbo (7) yarn – 1.5 balls.
Yarn needle
Stitches
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet
HDC – Half Double Crochet
HDC-2-TOG – Half Double Crochet Two Together.
Note- While using this yarn, if you have to frog a part of your project, do it slowly.
Row 1: CH 22. Turn. Skip 1 CH. SC into next 21 CH.
Row 2: CH 1. Turn. SC into each of the 21 stitches.
Row 3: CH 2. Turn. DC into first stitch. *CH 1. Skip 1 Stitch. DC into next stitch. Repeat from * across.
Row 4: CH 1. Turn. SC into DC. *SC into CH space. SC into next DC. Repeat from * across.
Row 5: CH 1. Turn. SC into each of the next 21 stitches.
Repeat rows 3-5 until cowl measures 40 inches.
Finish off leaving long yarn end. With large yarn needle, and your yarn end, weave together both ends of your cowl.
What does Frog mean?
To pull back out your stitches. Rip it rip it.
