Ninja Star

This morning my step son threw one of my Memaw Squares and called it a Ninja  Star. A light bulb went off in my head.  They turned out beautiful and they fly great!  Very easy pattern too 🙂

Supplies:

3.75 MM Hook
I used 4 ply worsted red heart yarn

Abbreviations:

CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet
HDC – Half Double Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
TRE – Trebble Crochet

Get Started

CH 4, Connect to first CH to make a ring.
CH 1, 8 SC inside ring. connect to CH 1.
CH1, *SC 2, CH 2. Repeat around from * four times. Connect to CH 1

Slip stitch across until you get to the CH2, slip stitch into the CH 2 space.

*CH 6, Slip stitch into the second CH from hook, SC, HDC, DC. TRE, Slip stitch into next CH 2 space. Repeat from * for all four points

Make two stars. Using the slip stitch, or a yarn needle,  connect them together around the edges.
