Kitty Cat Fingerless Mitts

As many of you know, I have been working on my daughter's Halloween costume for about a month now! These kitty cat mittens were the finishing touches to her costume. Here are links to the free patterns for the Kitty Cat Hat and the matching Leg Warmers too.  Later today I will be getting pictures of her in her costume, so be sure to check out the Stitch11 Facebook page to see!

Are you looking for adult kitty paw prints? Look no further! Moogly has the perfect prints for teens and adults!

Supplies
Medium weight yarn -I Love This Yarn – “Tropical Pink” and “Black”
Yarn needle – for weaving in ends and attaching prints.
I/9-5.50 MM crochet hook

Stitches
FSC – Foundation Single Crochet
SC – Single Crochet
Slip Stitch
HDC – Half Double Crochet
CH – Chain
DC – Double Crochet
Magic Circle

Now to get started, the first thing you need to do is follow this free Toddler Fingerless Gloves pattern from a previous post.

Now for the Paw Prints!

Make 8 Finger Prints

Round 1: Magic circle, 5 SC inside magic circle. Join to first SC and pull circle tight. Finish off leaving long end for attaching. Weave in your starting tail.

Make 2 Palm Prints

Round 1: Magic circle. 9 SC inside magic circle. Join to first SC and pull ring tight.
Round 2: Ch 1, **SC and HDC into the next stitch. 2 DC into the next stitch. HDC and SC into the next stitch. Repeat from ** 2 more times.
Finish off leaving tail for attaching. Weave in your starting tail.

Attach the prints to the fingerless gloves. The thumb hole to the gloves will go between two of the finger prints.
