Awesome Free Crochet Find!

Free-Crochet-Find!

Check out this awesome FREE crochet pattern for a 12 point star. When finding this pattern in The Yarn Box, I knew I had no choice but to try it out! What I didn't realize was that this thing is HUGE! I love it!! I still wish I had a mini hand sized one though- so I may just have to create a pattern for one. 😀   I would love to make about 10 of these in all different sizes and hang them from one of my children's bedroom ceilings.  The greatest thing about this Thingymajigger is that it is great for everyone! All ages!

I did have a few moments while following this pattern when I became a little lost…. but I wasn't going to give up! NEVER give up! Happy Hooking!

How big of a difference would using smaller yarn and a smaller hook make for this pattern? Would that make a noticeable difference in the size of the star?

Hmm, I bet it would! I don’t have any hooks smaller than 3.75 though… other than for crochet thread.

Just love this! Thank you for sharing, but I tried your instructions & everything else I could find to click on & could never get to a pattern. It would take me to advertisements or back where I started, on your page. One time I even got a big red warning that it was a virus. Can you help me out please?

    Thanks,
    Sandra

After you follow the link to The Yarn Box… click the bright pink button that says “view pattern”

That’s absolutely adorable! With the colors you used it almost looks like a giant “everlasting gobstopper” from willy wonka and the chocolate factory. 😉

I’m finding that links to The Yarn Box no longer work. I would love to add this Thingymajigger to my Crochet Baby Toys Pinterest board. I’d also like to make it for my 10 month old granddaughter. I’m having trouble getting the pattern. Any help will be appreciated!
    Thanks, Cheri Lowery
