Round 19: CH 2 *2 HDC in next stitch, 1 HDC in next 5 stitches, repeat from * around. connect to top of CH 2

I used 7 strands of yarn and weaved them in and out every 2 stitches

stretch over the head.

Cute pattern! I’ve started one for my niece but upon remembering she just pulls hats off, I may have to adjust to the adult size and keep it… hmm. There’s a mistake on this size though, round 3 is meant to say “CH 3” at the start, not “DC 3”.

I have a facebook page called Home made hats. I have been trying to design some head wraps for the ladies and so far have designed one. You can view pics of it on my page. Thank you for your quick response to any questions about your patterns. They are all very charming; I haven’t seen one yet that I don’t like. Keep up the good work ~ Happy Hooking ~ Cheryl Frye, Home made hats

Love this pattern…have a tea party bridal shower to go to and need a hat! This will be perfect with a few embellishments. How much cotton yarn did you use??

I know with the child and adult sizes I used just over one ball. So I would always get two balls just to be safe.

I love the hat and the 6-9 month hat too! I was wondering what you would do to make the brim a little less floppy? Thanks for the pattern and your help!

Yes you could but you would want to use less stitches… I might even use a smaller hook.

Most worsted weight yarn should work. 🙂

I just made this hat using the above directions. The hat came out way to big for my head. Torn it out and used a G Hook and it’s still way to big. I’m so Bummed . : (

Did you weave the yarn around and tie it into a bow? You can make it custom to any size/shape head with that feature.
