
Sweetheart Boot Cuffs Crochet Pattern

Special notes:
- Ch – chain, sc – single crochet, st(s) – stitch(es), dc – double crochet, yo – yarn over, hdc – half double crochet
- In the first cluster stitch at the beginning of the row, the ch 2 counts as a dc. *Yo, insert hook into same space, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops* repeat one more time, then yo and pull through all 3 loops. For all other clusters, *yo insert hook into ch, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops* repeat 2 times.
The pattern
Ch 1 does not count as a stitch
Color A – Ch 37
Row 1: Sc into the second ch from the hook and into each st across – 36 sts
Row 2-8: Ch 1, turn, sc into each st across – 36 sts
Change to color B
Row 9-10: Ch 1, turn, sc into each st across – 36 sts
Change to color A
Row 11: Ch 2, turn. Make a cluster st into the same space as the ch 2 (see note above for first cluster). *Ch 2, skip the next 5 sts and cluster st into the following st, ch 1, cluster st into the same space; repeat from * across. Ch 2, skip 5, and place 1 cluster st into the last st.
Change to color B
Row 12: Ch 1, turn. 1 sc into the next st, ch 1. Place 1 hdc into each of the second, third, and fourth skipped st from 2 rows below, you will be working over the ch 2 space from the previous row. * Ch 2, work a sc into the ch 1 space from the previous row (in between the 2 cluster sts), ch 2, place 1 hdc into each of the second, third, and fourth skipped st from 2 rows below; repeat from * across. Ch 1 and sc into the top of the last cluster st at the end of the row.
Row 13: Ch 2, turn, dc into the ch 1 space from the previous row. *Work 1 dc into each of the next 3 sts, 1 dc into the ch 2 space from the previous row, 1 dc into the next st, 1 dc into the ch 2 space; repeat from * across. Dc into the last 4 sts
Rows 14,15,16: Repeat rows 11, 12, 13, changing colors as previously instructed.Change to color A
Row 17: Ch 1, turn, sc into the first st. *Skip one st, 5 dc into next st, skip one st, sc into next st; repeat from * across.
Cut yarn and tie off, fold boot cuffs right sides facing in and stitch together the edges. Weave in all ends and turn right side out.
