Colour Block Boho Bag Crochet Pattern

We all have busy lives with a million places to be, and even more things to do. It’s hard to stay organized. But with the Colorblock Boho Bag, you can get everything done and look good while doing it.

This crochet tote bag is spacious and flexible enough to hold books, your laptop, or a towel and some sunscreen.  It could even hold a picnic for your day at the farm.

We made our Colorblock Boho Bag in a beautiful tricolor of Georgia Peach, Crimson and Sandshell, but you can make your bag in whatever colors you want!

Whether you’re dropping your kids off at school, picking up some things from the store, or going on a family vacation, this bag will carry everything you need and make you look stylish in the process!

Before we get to the crochet pattern, do you enjoy crocheting simple shapes like rectangles? If so, you may want to check out our Crochet Anything with Rectangles class where you'll take the basic shape you already have down pat and turn it into useful, practical, and beautifully professional projects.

If you were to make this with one color, is this a ONE SKEIN project?

      Hi Paulette,

If you will be using the Cascade Avalon yarn, that will be a little over 2 skeins of a single color.

Is the Avalon yarn a soft yarn or a stiff yarn?

I have only crocheted one time – at a class where we could make whatever we wanted. I made a tote bag using mostly triple crochet. I think the top of the bag and the handle was a different stitch. I liked it so much that I bought enough skeins of cotton yarn to make more for gifting. Alas, I never made them. But I still have the cotton yarn! Your bag might be even more useful and I think I know where to find a class where I can get help when I need it.
Thanks for reviving my interest in crochet.
BTW I found you through Craft Gossip.
