What have I been hooking?

Free Patterns, projects, yarn organization

This last weekend was very busy for me! Not only with crochet, but I was also able to visit with a lot of family.  I want to share all the crochet pieces I have made during this time, and of course, link the free patterns too!

First of all, I came across some old fabric dye in an ancient craft box of mine… and I knew instantly that my two white balls of peaches and creme were about to become colorific 😀 I made 3 new Granny Slouches using my own free Adult pattern. One of them I actually got to use the yarn I hand dyed.  I also made two Octopus's using a free pattern I found on Squidoo. These little guys were a ton of fun and super quick to make. The only change I made were the eyes and also making a circle for the bottom so I could stuff them.

I also crocheted an octopus during the car ride to my aunts, but I failed to take a picture of it before leaving.
And my WIP is my current yarn situation. I decided to do my best at organizing my yarn. I will show you the before and the WIP pictures while I am at it.

yarn mess

This is the before…. as you can see, its a mess. The tote is full and so is the large top drawer on the left. While I have the surface organized… I have yet to touch the tote or the drawer…. and now I feel like putting it off :O Like I always do when it comes to organizing. I am an artist, artist are messy 🙂

I hope you have had a fantastic crochet and family weekend too!

    Blessings 🙂
