It's that time of year again. The mornings are chilly and by noon it is warm outside. The best way to dress during seasons like this is to wear layers. This sweet crochet cowl is made to supply warmth and comfort to help kick start our days.

The crochet stitch I came up with for this cowl is so much fun. It includes 3 beginner stitches- making this a great project for anyone.

While brainstorming Christmas gift ideas it can be really hard to decide what project to do next. That is why I am so thankful for the Stitch11 Facebook page! With this free pattern, the first thing I did was look through my yarn stash. I wanted 3 colors that went well together and yarn that was soft enough to wanna snuggle with. I Love This Yarn never fails me. Another yarn that would work well is Red Heart With Love… but our stores stopped carrying it. Really, you could use any medium- worsted weight yarn with this… and even light weight yarn but with a larger hook, or with a smaller hook and more starting foundation single crochet.

When designing this scarf I wanted something I could fold three times to have the Cowl look, but not limited to that look. The great things about infinity scarves is that there are so many ways to wear them… use you imagination to get the perfect look for you!
