After one of my readers used my snake puppet pattern , She contacted me asking for advice on changing it up to a lion puppet. She will be doing a puppet show at her church telling the story of Daniel in the Lions Den. What a great idea and thank you for letting me be part of this!
Bonnets are on the rise! Thanks to Dearest Debi!
The white puff stitch bonnet was inspired by a bonnet pattern that Debi is currently putting together for all of us bonnet lovers. The pink bonnet is an available pattern from Dearest Debi called the Sun Tulip Bonnet.
Everyday as I walk through my house I point out my daughters play area to her and say “What a mess!” All while ignoring my overflowing, tangled, intertwined, and beautiful yarn stash of a mess I make myself. I pulled everything off of my card (yarn) table and decided to tackle this puzzle I had created. But where do I start????
What little girl doesn't love tutus? Use this crochet pattern to make an adorable no-sew tutu with crochet waistband for your baby or little girls. This tutu fits 18-month olds and up to 3T.
My niece Olivia has a birthday coming up. The party theme is going to be princess/ballerina. So what better gift could I create other than her very own tutu. <3
When visiting with family on Easter, I asked my gramma what she would like for me to make for her. She said “A doily” :O Im sure she seen the panic on my face because she quickly said “..or anything.” But after I found this beautiful FREE Pansy Doily pattern on Ravelry, I couldn't resist. The flowers are simply gorgeous!

I have so many ideas for my scrap yarn. Today I attempted to show the beauty of scrap yarn through a hand towel. Although I absolutely love the colors, I don't really care for the pattern I came up with. I hope to have a better one soon to write out for my crochet friends.
Recently a Facebook friend of mine, Debi , gave me the chance to test out one of her patterns. Here are the flowers I passed out for Easter. 😀 For each stem I just used 2 pipe cleaners and twisted one end into a loop to make my Magic circle. Once the middle of the flower was crocheted, I twisted the loop a little more to make it tighter and closed. My Daisy pattern works great with this.
Spring is in the air!
I recently came across an article that was floating around the web and I instantly new I had to try it! My yarn extensions are not nearly as beautiful as babukatoriums but they still look pretty awesome! 😉
