This Baby Legs and Owl set is probably the cutest thing I have ever made! It is designed for a 6 month old baby. The baby crochet hat is perfect for a 6 month old and the baby legs crochet are perfect for 3-9 months. Now I cannot wait to make a toddler version of these! About a week ago my sister, Miranda, from Work At Home Adventures asked me to make her a Potholder and Washcloth set for her to give to some lucky person as a gift. (Yes, anyone who receives a handmade item as a gift is lucky!) My sister supplied the yarn and everything! She brought me one of those big rolls (on a cone) of Peaches and Creme Cotton Yarn from Walmart. I couldn't be any happier with how it turned out….. unless… maybe next time use “I Love this Cotton.” It's what the potholder pattern calls for,

With how popular these sock monkey hats are, I am tempted to start a mini sock monkey hat factory out of my kitchen 😉 This sock monkey hat is a free crochet pattern and is written for size 6 months. My guess is that is may fit 3-9 months.. but as you all know, heads come in many shapes and sizes. After creating the Simple Dish Cloth and the Shell of a Washcloth, I knew I would be making many more washcloths to give away during Christmas. Here are a few I made with the little bit of cotton yarn I have left. I will soon be going out to get more yarn! When making these All Purpose Washcloths I wanted to make sure that the size of the holes were not only perfect for in the bath and shower but also for the dishes and house cleaning.

I have been trying to think of ways to use my scrap yarn up. If you are following me on Facebook you know that I am doing my best not to buy yarn until my stash is just about gone. I have been doing pretty good too! And thanks to this new pot holder pattern I have written, I can now get rid of all those small balls of cotton yarn.. and the outcome be beautiful! With this pot holder, since I used the puff stitch, I had no reason to double up.. the puff stitch is thick enough alone. Enjoy this free crochet pattern written by your very own Stitch11!
Gobble Gobble!! A free crochet pattern for a toddler turkey hat can put a smile on any ones face! I thought about how I would put this hat together for weeks and I am so pleased with how it turned out. I was thinking about making turkey legs with feet instead of the braids… but if you haven't noticed, I really like the braids. Haha! I hope you love this yarntastic pattern as much as I do!

For the last 6 months, I have been thinking about Halloween daily, trying to come up with the perfect crochet piece for my daughter. A couple days ago my daughter, Ella, looked at me and pointed at herself while saying “princess.” As I agree “Yes honey, you are a princess.” It dawned on me… the only costume that would be ideal for her this Halloween would have to be a princess.
