A Yarntastic Life!
As most of you know, I do not sell very many items I create because I always want to make gifts for my family. Last week I decided to take a few custom orders. The first order was for this 3-6 month crochet Yoda hat. A friend of mine from Knot Your Nana's Crochet had already made a Yoda hat pattern but its for child size. A couple days ago I found a beautiful free crochet pattern for a Cross Bangle designed by the Crochet Chiq. I knew right away that I wanted to make some bookmarks with her crochet pattern. For the last year I have searched countless times for the ideal cross to use as a bookmark. There are so many already out there to choose from but none of them were really my style or calling out my name. Thank you so much Crochet Chiq for designing this and sharing it with all of us!
I used crochet thread and a 1.9 mm crochet hook.
This beautiful netted square works up quickly and is super easy! Measuring 4.5 inches and taking me about 10 minutes per square to make, its now my favorite square to work up. What will you make with this beautiful stash bustin' crochet square? What should I make?

Dream Catcher Square Crochet Pattern
A few weeks back I found this awesome free crochet cat pattern from The Yarn Box. I love how easy it is to modify to add a little of my own style…. or the style of each child I made the cats for. I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun I had making these! The only thing I did different from the start was that I used a size E crochet hook instead of H.

After completing my last free crochet pattern, the Stash Bustin' Crochet Flower in a Square, I decided I would make a few of these adorable flowers as squares. This Dahlia is based off of a personal favorite crochet pattern of mine, Autumn Flower. Like the previous crochet Square, this one also measures around 4.5 inches and with the same amount of stitches. Happy Hookin'!
This stash bustin' crochet flower in a square measures to be about 4.5 inches. I have decided that every week I will be making at least one square. I may use this same free crochet pattern, someone else's free pattern, or write new ones. I will eventually have enough squares that I can test out a few techniques for joining!! Recently I designed the Newborn Princess Hat. When taking the photo I took advantage of a nearby frog to add my logo into the picture. My cousin (who is the pregnant one) loves frogs and always has as far back as I can remember. Anyways, after taking the photo of the princess hat, I knew I had to do my best at a frog hat.

Check out this awesome FREE crochet pattern for a 12 point star. When finding this pattern in The Yarn Box, I knew I had no choice but to try it out! What I didn't realize was that this thing is HUGE! I love it!! I still wish I had a mini hand sized one though- so I may just have to create a pattern for one. 😀 I would love to make about 10 of these in all different sizes and hang them from one of my children's bedroom ceilings. The greatest thing about this Thingymajigger is that it is great for everyone! All ages!

While crocheting the Turban for Miss Happy for my best online friend Andrea, I was wanting to come up with something to mail her son, Avery, as a gift. I know Avery loves cars and trucks and probably has every cool car and truck that is sold in stores and online. So I decided to make him this awesome little airplane! It didn't take long before my daughter started crying for an airplane also, so I made her a pink one too! This is my first time crocheting Amigurumi and I must admit… I think I may start a new addiction! I never realized how fun and easy these would be to make! Sweet Ella Valentine is a free crochet pattern designed for toddlers and children. This hat has been tested on a 2 year old and a 6 year old- fitting both of them perfectly.
While yarn shopping at Hobby Lobby last Friday, my daughter Ella snatched some fuzzy pink yarn off the shelf. She quickly threw it into the cart and yelled out “Ellas!”
After playing with the yarn I decided to go for a soft and furry pink hat. I ask Ella if she would rather me make her a hat with hearts or an Easter chick hat. I knew what her answer would be— I don't believe she knows what a “chick” is at the age of 2…. but she is always surprising me with all of her smarts. For the next hour all she would say to me was “hearts” while watching me finish her hat and weave in ends. As soon as the hat was complete, I grabbed my camera and she started striking poses for me. <3
The Forever Tiffani crochet ear warmer pattern was inspired by my beautiful cousin Tiffani. A few days ago, Tiffani posted a picture on Facebook of a cute ear warmer she wanted me to make her. I quickly replied to her “This is knitted!” 😉 The ear warmer she had in mind was very unique and attractive- so I wanted to do my best to apply those qualities when designing this yarntastic free crochet pattern.
To make this ear warmer you will only need one skein of Vanna's Choice by Lion Brand. It is medium weight yarn. I used both ends of the skein at once to make it double stranded. If you have problems using both ends of a yarn skein– I would suggest using two skeins. Happy hooking!
This free crochet pattern for Sweetheart Love Flowers, was a lot of fun for me to design. After testing out the heart crochet patterns the other day, I knew I wanted to come up with my own unique way of crocheting a heart. My daughter is in love with these flowers. She barely let me weave in my ends before snatching them up. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as we have. <3

Once a week, a few members of my family and I meet up for a Bible study. It never fails, I always forget my highlighter and pen. My daughter Ella, and my niece, Sara, share a birthday on January 11th. My niece is having a Hello Kitty themed party so I decided to have a go at a Hello Kitty inspired head band. To be honest, I am not 100% thrilled with this headband but maybe the next one will be even better! Either way, my daughter LOVES it!
