6 Scarves I Have Made and Loved!

September 16, 2014 By stitch11 2 Comments

Six Beautiful Scarves I have made and love

Pavement Infinity - Free Crochet Pattern The Pavement Infinity Scarf was a favorite of mine last Winter. I gifted so many, that I actually lost count! It works up easy and what I like to call “mindless”. My favorite thing about this scarf is that you can use any yarn and hook you wish- making it great for busting your stash!

Beautiful and Simple Free Crochet Scarf PatternThe Beautiful and Simple Scarf is exactly that, beautiful and simple. Using just the Half Double Crochet you make this pretty texture by changing your yarn combos.

Good Morning Cowl - Free Crochet PatternThe newest to my collection is the Good Morning Cowl. The stitches are fun, yet easy! It works up quick and is so soft and comfy! Great for cold mornings.

Free Kissing Jewels Infinity Scarf Crochet PatternThe Kissing Jewels Infinity/Cowl was so much fun for me. I am anxious to make more but using different yarns and colors to get a completely different affect.

Artfully Simple Infinity Scarf - Free Crochet PatternMost of you have already heard of, seen, or made the Artfully Simple Infinity Scarf. It went CRAZY around the crochet world! And if you have made it, you know exactly why! It is such a beautiful and simple work of yarn art that is also practical and comfy to use!

Soft and Squishy Shell Scarf - free crochet patternThe Soft and Squishy Scarf really is soft and squishy! It's a great shell design to add that splash of color and texture during the colder seasons.

Seven Little Animals -free crochet patterns

Seven Little Animals - Free Crochet Patterns-

I love crocheting little animals. Each one I make- makes me love it even more. I eventually want a huge collection of animals that will never be allowed to be thrown away (like store bought stuffies).

The latest requests from my daughter is a cow puppet- to go with the puppy puppet I have already made her. She also wants a rat, baby cow, and a fish. 🙂 I love that she puts in her requests and admires everything I make her. <3

These patterns are all designed or reviewed by me. Hopefully it won't be long and I can add many more to this adorable and fun little animal list!

Boinky the Baby Pig
Baby Unicorn
Crochet Baby Duck
Mini Bunny
Octopus

Free Crochet Party Supplies

As the days get longer and the nights get warmer, many of us will be invited to more and more celebrations.
One of my favorite things about crochet, is that the warmer weather brings out the creativity in many of us fiber artists. Just because it isn't snowing, doesn't mean we have to stop creating and sharing! Celebrate your art and throw a party!

Add Some Crochet Love With Embellishments

April 21, 2014 By stitch11 1 Comment

Free Crochet Embellishments

I wanted to bring a post together of all my l favorite Stitch11 embellishment crochet patterns. These free crochet patterns spark the creativity in me each and every time I look them over.

With the Sweetheart Love Flower, I would love to figure out a good way to put them together to make large crochet projects. I am very proud of this design!
The Water Lily would be great for frog, water, mermaid, nature, and many other themes.. Once I crocheted them… the ideas starting coming through quickly.
My Daisy– The name says it all. I love my daisy 🙂 It is the quickest ‘go to' flower pattern I have.
Dahlia‘s may actually be my favorite flower. I love the color varieties and the size of the blooms. I like to have many of them growing around my house so I can always have plenty to to cut for inside my home or to hand out to all my nieces.
Boutique Bow was inspired by Minnie Mouse… but many other cartoon characters wear identical bows to this one! I had been wanting to create the perfect bow for a long time… but was waiting for the details to work themselves out in my head…. I was so thrilled when I realized how easy they actually would be to crochet.

Crochet Beanie Patterns For Men

Crochet Beanie Patterns For Men

Each of these 5 hats were inspired by one of the patterns linked below. I say they are “inspired” because I changed each one to be custom and unique for each person I am gifting them to.
I have discovered a new way I like to edge my beanie's and that is with a Front Post Single Crochet. The FPSC makes the edge of the beanie thicker and stronger (while still leaving the stretch) right where the hat needs to feel the most secure.

Stitch11 Scarves

There are only 20 days left 'til Christmas. I have been crocheting like a mad woman! I have lots of ends to weave in, pictures to take, and posts to write, but until then… I wanted to put together a post with the 3 free Stitch11 scarves I have written so far. Each one of these are simply put together with basic stitches. You can turn the regular scarves into infinity or the infinity into a regular scarf. The best thing about crocheting scarves is that you can personalize each one for the person you are gifting it to. Have fun with your colors, yarns and even hook sizes to get the look just right for each person on your Christmas list.

Free Crochet Sun Hat Patterns!

December 11, 2012 By stitch11 4 Comments

free sun hat crochet patterns

Shortly after learning how to crochet, I searched the web for a simple sun hat pattern. It didn't take long for me to realize I was going to have to pay for one or write one myself. The great thing about sun hats is that they are great all year long! Even in the winter, especially when on a long car ride on a sunny day.  One of the most annoying things for my daughter is driving into the sun while on a road trip. She is still too young to know to keep her sunglasses on.. so instead, we bring the crochet sun hat too!

Here is a list of the FREE crochet sun hat patterns I have written so far.

6-9 Month Sun Hat
9-18 Month Sun Hat
Toddler Sun Hat
Child Size Sun Hat
Adult Sun Hat
